Pre-Filing Check

Professional review of your PR or Citizenship application and supporting documents, a written report setting out what is missing, inconsistent, weak or improvable, and a Zoom or telephone call to go through the findings. The report is normally delivered by the next working day.

By a person. Your application is reviewed by Epica's immigration team — the same team that handles our full-service cases and has managed more than 2,000 PR and Citizenship applications. Software can check formatting; it cannot tell you what ICA actually looks for.

If your application is already entered in the ICA portal, Option 1 (Zoom session) is the most complete, because we see exactly what ICA will see. If you would rather not share your screen, Option 2 gives the same review from your uploaded documents and a PDF of your portal entries. If you have not started on the portal, Option 3 reviews your documents and includes our filing guide for when you do.

No. You enter the information into the ICA portal and submit the application yourself. If you would prefer us to handle preparation and filing end to end, choose our Full Filing Service.

Yes. The check finds the avoidable gaps — missing documents, inconsistent details, weak presentation — that most applicants never know were there, because ICA does not tell you what went wrong. Fixing those before you submit obviously has an impact on your approval chances. ICA still makes the final decision on its own criteria, and no one can promise an outcome.

The report will say so plainly. You can fix the points yourself, move to our DIY Plus plan for 30 days of guided preparation, or ask us to take over with the Full Filing Service. Which route makes sense will be clear from the report.

Yes. Your documents are handled under our PDPA-compliant data policy, stored securely, and never shared with third parties. They are used only for the purpose of your review.
