Who Can Apply for Whom? — ICA vs MOM Routes
Different sponsors have different rights. Here's a quick overview.
ICA Route
Who is the sponsor: Singapore Citizens (SC) or Permanent Residents (PR)
Can Apply LTVP For:
- Foreign spouse (legally married)
- Unmarried children under 21 (including legally adopted)
- Step-children from previous marriages
- Own Parents
important to Note:
- LTVP for Common-law spouse option is not available for PR or Citizens
MOM Route
Who is the sponsor: Employment Pass (EP) and S Pass holders with specific salary
Can Apply LTVP For:
- Common-law spouse (requires embassy letter/affidavit)
- Step-children under 21 (case-by-case)
- Own Parents — only for EP holders earning S$12,000+/month
Can Apply DP For:
- Legally married spouse
- Unmarried children under 21

For MOM cases, Epica Immigration (Licensed Employment Agency) submits on the employer’s behalf. For ICA cases, submission is authorised via the sponsor’s Singpass. We are not endorsed by ICA or MOM and do not guarantee outcomes.
If you are an Employment Pass (EP) holder and wish to apply for a Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) for your parents or common-law spouse, your employing company must authorize us to submit the application on your behalf. Please note that as the primary sponsor, your employer ultimately decides which types of passes or visas can be applied for and approved under your work pass.

Do you submit the application?
Yes. For ICA (SC/PR sponsors), we submit using your Singpass authorisation. For MOM (EP/S Pass families), we submit on the employer’s behalf using our Licensed Employment Agency privileges.
Is the S$750 service fee inclusive of government fees?
No. S$750 is Epica’s professional service fee (before GST). ICA/MOM government fees are separate and paid directly to the authorities.
Do you guarantee approval or faster processing?
No consultant can guarantee outcomes. We focus on accuracy, completeness and compliance, which helps minimise delays and requests for information.
Can you help with common-law spouse cases?
Yes. We provide templates and guidance for embassy letters/affidavits and assemble the required proofs under the MOM route.
Do you offer translation or notarisation?
We can coordinate with third-party providers and advise on ICA/MOM translation rules. Third-party costs are separate.
