Appeal or Reapply after Rejection of PR

Is it better to file an appeal or just wait for another 6 months and re-apply? What do you recommend?

Filing an appeal just for the sake of filing is not going to make any difference. The appeal will have chances of success only if there are significant differences in your circumstances. So check carefully if your circumstances have significantly changed, which warrants reconsideration by ICA.

Examples are as below;

  • You acquired a new reputed educational qualification
  • You changed a job and there is a significant increase in the salary
  • You have or likely to get married

In case there are no such significant changes in your case then it will be better to wait for 6 months and then file your application.
